PICANTE Hot Cocoa - Zesty enough for the Season!

A cup of hot dark chocolate can actually PREVENT diabetes

Forget everything you've been told about hot chocolate being an indulgence: a cup before bedtime could fend off diabetes, a study has found.  Dark chocolate is rich in flavanols, plant chemicals that boost blood flow by widening vessels. Cocoa powder also reduces amounts of harmful liver fats called triglycerides by about a third. It has been used in a medicinal capacity for more than two thousand years. The Mayans and Aztecs civilizations were convinced it relieved a host of ailments including fever, heart pain and bowel complaints.

Now here is a recipe for you to try this one of a kind PICANTE HOT COCOA

Ingredients      
1 1/2 cups boiling water
3 ounces - PICANTE HOT COCOA

1 tbsp white sugar (optional)
1 pinch salt
4 1/2 cups milk

Mix the sugar, salt, 2  ounces of the PICANTE HOT COCOA  into the water and part of the milk in a tall drinking mug. 

When the chocolate powder dissolves gradually the remaining milk stirring continuously. Now top with the balance 1 ounce PICANTE HOT COCOA and stir in to form a dark rich hot chocolate drink.
